When I’m playing chords with the right hand, and I come to a change in the chord, are there rules of thumb as to whether I go below or above the existing chord to the new chord ?
Thanks for your question. The chords can be played above or below the existing chord as long as it doesn’t interfere with the area the melody is primarily played.
